I am a full-time piano teacher with 17 years of teaching experience. Patient, responsible and dedicated, I strive to bring out the best in every student by structuring the lessons according to the temperament and learning style of the student.
Student base
I have taught students ranging in age between 4 to 50 years old, beginners to Grade 8. My belief is that every student (children and adults alike) can be taught to play and enjoy the piano.
Teaching style

As the adage goes, “to teach is to learn”. I see myself as learning alongside my students when I teach. My style is not to talk down to students, but to engage them to develop the right skills. This will help them to feel at ease (and hence develop confidence) while at the piano. I believe that if the teacher is calm and confident, the students will be calm and confident too. Nervous energy begets nervous students.

I also make it a point to regularly feedback to the parents the progress of their kids as I believe in partnering with parents to ensure that the kids are performing and benefiting from the piano lessons.
